Lodge No. 30016th Foot, Bedfordshire. 3rd August, 1758. G.L.M., 1786, "W.M. of 293 (in 16th Foot) ordered to return Warrant No. 300. 14th December, 1768. Three members excluded for selling the Warrant 300." Removed to Cavan Militia, 1st July 1801, by the P.D.G.M. of Munster Removed to Cavan, 1816 Cancelled 7th January, 1830.
Volume 1 of the extant Grand Lodge Registers record "Granted to the Cavan Reg. of Militia by the Provincial Grand Master of Munster July 1st., 1801 to be afterwards held in Cavan." Three brethren, John Sutcliffe, Jno. Hughes and Thos. Humphreys registered 1 July, 1801. A further 31 brethren registered up to 9 October, 1806. Second series Vol. 2 of the Grand Lodge Register shows:- No. 300 to Cavan Militia 1 July, 1801. John Sutliff; Jas. Hughes and Tho. Humphreys registered 1 July, 1801. No indication as to Master or Wardens. A total of 81 brethren registered up to 16 March, 1826. (A) Wattle Bridge, Newtonbutler, Co. Fermanagh. 25th January, 1831. Removed to Belturbet. Warrant sent in, December, 1873; Restored 4th May, 1876. Sent in and cancelled, 16th June 1881. (B) Bangkok, Siam. (Now Thailand) 4th October, 1900. Menam Lodge.
